- The Purpose of “FRWDA” shall be to Preserve, Promote and Protect the Ranching, Cowboy Lifestyle, Heritage, Rights and to Preserve, Promote and Protect our Hunting and Working Heritage and the dog breeds used for such necessities.
- To collect, record and preserve the pedigrees of Working and Hunting canine breeds, to maintain a registry to record the history, breeding, exhibition, and uses of working and hunting canine breeds; and to stimulate the publicity and improvement of ALL breeds; together with all other matters necessary or convenient to further the interests of the breeds.
- To work with state and federal officials and politicians to accomplish FRWDA purpose and help construct legislation to fulfill our purpose as well as fight legislation detrimental to our purpose.
